It feels so surreal to be writing this post. It's weird to finally be sharing the secret, especially because we've actually known about it for almost 3 months! So, I'm presuming some of you may have guessed by now, but... I'm pregnant!
This is the reason I've been so quiet on social media, purely because I didn't really have anything else to share other than this huge secret and how it's been affecting me! All I've done is slept a lot, eaten a lot and cried a lot. I also developed a bump VERY early (I mean, some of it is just because I wasn't exactly skinny before!) so I couldn't take or share any outfit posts either!
I was always going to share this news on my Instagram and on here, but of course I wanted to wait until I'd had my 12 week scan so that I knew everything was okay so far. The first 12 weeks go SO slowly as you are just an absolute nervous wreck throughout. I am actually currently 13 weeks pregnant!
I've already written a first trimester diary-style blog post, and some other pregnancy-related posts. I honestly had NO idea how difficult the first trimester would be, and I actually found it incredibly overwhelming and quite lonely, so I thought I'd write about my experience in the hopes that it helps someone else. I read a lot of blog posts and forums about the first trimester just so I'd feel less alone (although I would suggest staying off the forums as some of the advice wasn't very helpful!) If there are any specific posts you'd like to read or any questions you have, please let me know. I will also be posting and sharing normal, non-pregnancy related posts so please don't worry if you're not interested in hearing about pregnancy stuff! Also I'm very aware that for some people, hearing about other people's pregnancies is a massive trigger, so please look after yourself and don't read these posts if they're difficult for you.
B and I are already so in love with our little squish (as we've been affectionately calling baby!) and we're so excited to be sharing our news with all of our friends and family. I'd love to know if any of you are also pregnant, have any advice or tips or just generally fancy a chat!
So exciting! Congratulations! I hope this next life chapter is everything you're hoping for x

This is soooo exciting!! With my eldest I went from nothing just before Christmas to coming back to work after Christmas looking like I’d ate all the pies! With my second my bump was more elusive. It was definitely there but also felt a little hidden for a while. Nice to have you back too!!
